Having an extensive portfolio or work heading through to 2025 and beyond Clearfield has been tasked to source a number of experienced Service and Maintenance Engineers to join the busy London team.

Service Engineers

* The service engineers will be required to be on call, with approx. 1 in 6 weeks turnover.

* High Level Engineer(s) will be required to work on VRV(F) and have extensive knowledge of manufacturers service checkers ideally. They will report to the field service manager and will be there to support the other engineer mid level engineers on the team. Ideally some chiller experience would be a help.

* Mid level engineer(s) will have a good knowledge of VRV(F) and be able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs. If needed, training can be offered at this level for use of manufacturers service checkers etc to assist with diagnosis.

Job Description – Service Engineer

Providing a twenty-four-hour call out service to our customer base which includes organisations in the hotel and leisure sectors. The business prides itself on supporting the needs of customers through excellent customer care.

Role Responsibilities

* Efficient diagnosis of faults in response to reactive service calls aiming to provide a first-time fix and so ensure continuity of service for our customers.

* Ability to complete planned system repairs in a timely manner following quoted works.

* Completion of planned maintenance works and identification of any system errors which may require further investigation or works.

* Carrying out planned maintenance to the highest standard.

Our Ideal Candidate

* Will be a Self-motivated team member eager to learn.

* Be enthusiastic with a 'hands on, can do' approach willing to pitch in and help irrespective of the works involved.

* Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.

* Have 4 Years previous experience in a similar role.

* Should have experience in delivering customer care and be focused on supporting the needs of the customer.

* F-Gas qualification.

* Current CITB card advantageous.

* Experience working on major buildings including Hotels and or Banks would be advantegeous.

Rewards

Excellent base package is supplemented by door to door travel and regular overtime. Any hours over 40 per week are subject to overtime rates, starting at time+1/3. With this work on a factor of 1.3x salary as expected on target earnings for the year.

Manufacturers training provided including laptop based diagnostic tools.

Salary: £35,000.00-£46,000.00 per year (£46,550 - £61,180 OTE)
