Junior Estimator

My client requires an experienced Estimator to join their busy footbridge manufacturing business. The company builds bridges and structures since 1988 and are one of the market leaders in their field.

The role is permanent and full time and will be based at their factory in Shepley, Huddersfield

Duties:

* Using and understanding excel spreadsheet templates.

* Adapting and building excel spreadsheets.

* Using and adapting word document templates to build quotation letters.

* how they are built

* how they are installed

* Conversing with Customers via email, telephone, teams meetings.

* Liaising with colleagues to collect information to build quotations that are not covered by standard tools and to help with responding to customers questions regarding quotations.

* Checking orders received against quotations given and highlighting any discrepancies

* A rudimentary knowledge of Contracts would be advantageous, and a willingness to expand this knowledge would be essential.

The hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm with half hour for lunch Monday to Friday.

Annual leave is 33 days in total with 21 to take as required and 12 factory shut down
