Our client is an award-winning, leading brand of ambient foods. Popular by demand, their products are launched across various FMCG stores throughout the UK and Europe.

Reporting into the Trading Manager as well as the Warehouse Manager, your role will involve understanding and driving the trading performance through building and maintaining strong working relationships with key suppliers whilst working collaboratively with the floor staff. You will demonstrate excellent prioritisation and planning skills to ensure targets are met and customer satisfaction remains high.

Responsibilities:

* Frequently liaise with key suppliers for prices and stocks

* Successfully plan and execute promotions in depot

* Understand the Contract & Convergent (C&C) environment whilst resolving customer queries within a timely manner

* Maintain retros and over-riders whilst raising POs and GRNs

* Provide forecasting reports to plan, monitor, and maintain stock levels

* Ensure pre-orders and deliveries are scheduled

* Actively arrange regular stock-takes and carry out any necessary investigations relating to stock

* Manage and resole supplier invoice queries within agreed timescales

* Source products for the exports and local clients

Criteria:

* Excellent customer service skills coupled with strong communication skills both written and verbal

* Proven experience in raising Pos and GRNs

* Proven ability to work to agreed timescales

* Proven ability to resolve issues as and when they arise

* Excellent stakeholder management skills
