Project Manager Role specialising in period buildings

Proposed Start date: 14th October

Job title : Working Project Manager specialising in the refurbishment of period and listed buildings.

Role and responsibilities

The role consists of :- Planning and running projects safely, bringing them in on time and budget with maximum Client satisfaction.

* To produce accurate master programmes (with our consultant planner) and agree individual sub-contractor programmes where required.

* To identify changes to specifications of work, record, and price where possible or refer to the QS to price.

* Manage an effective but simple RFI/CVI/IRS system.

* To ensure all sites are run with up-to-date drawings and H&S requirements at all times.

* The firm would appreciate drawing on your experience to find and implement new ‘best practice’ systems for the business, to include tracking variations, procuring subbies and suppliers, site set up and anything else you can help with.

* To implement new more efficient processes where possible.

* The business would require you to renew your MCIOB membership before Q2 2024, if practical to do so.

* This position is a long term position, with an opportunity to grow the business and pass on your experience and skillset to the younger generation of Construction professionals.

* The role of PM reports directly to the MD and is supported by a broad team of consultants including IT, Accounts, H&S, Design, Commercial and Operations
