SH Recruitment are working with an award- winning commercial vehicle repair body shop.

SH recruitment are looking for a MET Technician to join our Customers Team at the head office in Hoddesdon.

You must have Mechanical, Electrical and Trim experience for this position.

Shift Pattern:
07:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday

Duties:
· Skilfully complete all retail, manufacturer & insurance jobs to the companies high standards
· Complete all jobs within the allotted times
· Skilfully work to the high standards expected by their customers, manufacturers & industry
· Stripping and Fitting of vehicles in order to gain list of parts required
· Communicate with internal departments and suppliers
· Perform mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs on vehicles
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
· Remove and replace damaged parts
· Repair or replace vehicle panels, trims, and interior components
· Conduct quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry standards
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
· Reliable & conscientious
· Courteous, polite & professional
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· Previous experience as an MET Technician or similar role
· Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems
· Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and repair manuals
· Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
