Job role - Senior Quantity surveyor

An exciting client, who is a leading residential developer is seeking a Senior Quantity surveyor (SQS) with great industry and management experience. You will be their first commercial hire and as such, will build the team around you to manage the commercial aspects of the business.

Role expectations -

Duties of the role involve but are not limited too, managing subcontractors, estimating costs, budget control, cash flow forecasting, and handling payments for contracts and subcontracts. They also evaluate construction options and create lists of materials, labour, and services needed. You will also be responsible of a team of junior QS who will report into you. You will be involved in multiple projects concurrently, experience of this is essential.
