We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team at Hull Children's Home, a residential care home that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people aged 8 to 18. You will be responsible for supporting the children and young people with their daily living skills, education, health, and wellbeing. You will also help them to develop their social and emotional skills, as well as their independence and confidence.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting
Knowledge and understanding of autism, ADHD, and complex needs
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledgeDriving and qualifications in social care are desirable but not essential. We offer a comprehensive induction and training programme, as well as ongoing support and supervision. We also offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including pension, holiday pay, sick pay, and employee assistance programme.
We have day shifts, night shifts, and sleep shifts available. Full-time and part-time hours are also available. You will be required to work on a rota basis, which may include weekends and bank holidays.
