Our client based in Watford are expanding, and in need of an entry level Mechanical Engineer.

The company were established over 75 years ago and are experts in their field manufacturing electrical & mechanical products, and trade to customers in the U.K and internationally.

Your new role will carry out all duties of a mechanical engineer within the engineering team, and you will provide technical support and quotations to customer, so excellent command of English is paramount.

You will have a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar, have practical experience along with working knowledge of 3D CAD, advanced Excel skills, be highly organised and adept at accurate record keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out product related R&D.
3D CAD (Solidworks).
Improving and automating production processes.
Design and build of machinery.
Discuss and solve complex problems with customers and suppliers.
Providing technical support to the sales team and external customers, including preparation of quotes.
Producing process and product documentation / datasheets.
Research and selection of materials used in products.
Commission and maintain plant and systems.
Provide technical support and quotations to customers (2-3 hours / day).The salary is offering £25-£30k, free parking, pension, paid overtime and 20 days holiday + all bank holidays.

Due to the location you will need to be a car driver and have access to one.
