My client is an award-winning charity that do fantastic work helping to improve the welfare of animals. They are now looking for an Insights Manager to join their Data team who can manage the Insights function and help shape the direction of the fundraising strategy.

This is an exciting role that would suit a highly motivated individual looking to make an impact, helping data-led fundraising and achieve ambitious targets.

The Insight Manager will provide detailed and insightful analysis, raise visibility of insights across the department and influence decision making, ensuring that they lead with their data to optimise income generation and improve the donor experience.

You will need to have advanced technical skills to manage their custom data warehouse and BI tool Tableau, as well as strong experience of CRM systems.

There is a real opportunity here to shape the charity’s insights journey and help to grow a healthy data culture, with scope to revolutionise the way their data is used in moving towards machine learning.

Skills & experience needed

* Previous experience working in a similar Insights role within a charity or NFP

* Advanced SQL skills, both writing SQL and using SQL server

* Strong experience using Tableau

* Advanced skills using a data warehouse and ETL process

* Experience using CRM systems (Blackbaud products would be desirable)

* Experience of overseeing data segmentation hierarchies

* Strong understanding of Data Protection law and GDPR

* Problem-solver with strong business and numeric sense

* Prioritisation skills, able to plan and manage workloads

* Good communication and interpersonal skills
