Inside IR35 - £(Apply online only) per day (via umbrella, negotiable dependent upon experience)
Following an internal restructure, an exciting new interim opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in the North of London.
My client is looking for an experienced Service Manager to support across the Children in Need and Child Protection services for an initial 3-6month interim period whilst they look to appoint permanently.
CV submission is by COP Friday 15th September 2023 and my client will be holding MS Teams interviews W/C Monday 18th September with a view to start as soon as possible.
Due to the current unique climate, remote working will be supported for this opportunity, and you will be expected to work on-site 2 days per week
About your duties as the Service Manager – CIN / CP:
Direct line manage 4 Team Managers with oversight of a total of 20 social workers, 5 per team.
Service improvement and team stabilisation.
Supporting teams to safely reduce the number of children coming into care through effective interventions including SGO and multi-agency partnership approach.
Maintaining partnership and strong performance at the front door.Your experience needed as the Service Manager CIN / CP:
Need to already be working as a strong Service Manager.
Must have experience managing family support, CIN, CP, Court and other frontdoor services.
Expecting OFSTED inspection in the Autumn, therefore thorough knowledge of inspection guidelines is essential.
Due to the MASH set up, strong interpersonal and stake holder partnership working is essential.
Social work England active registration.
Active DBS or willing to undertake one.
