Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a highly successful Food/Drinks Business, with recognisable brands and a global operation, as they look to recruit a Planning & Capacity Manager.

This opportunity comes as the business is continuing to grow and they are looking for an individual to lead the planning function, drive better supply chain processes and champion best practise operations. This a true leadership role and the position is looking to attract someone who is a passionate management profile, ready to lead, motive and develop the planning function.

Description

The Planning & Capacity Manager will:

Team lead / motivation / people / training / develop team skills and autonomy.
Make sure that capacity on the short/mid/long term is aligned with the demand and R&O.
Assure service level and availability to customers.
Assure monthly input to the factory S&OP process from other departments (production, technical, projects, etc).
Assure timeliness and correctness of submission to global team of monthly S&OP input and MRP.
Align with finance on RF volumes and stock projections.
Optimize stock management processes: stock rework, blocked stocks, safety stocks optimization, expiry.Profile

Successful candidates will possess:

Degree calibre
Proven track record in supply chain management across the FMCG markets
Previous experience of planning management, capacity management and S&OP
Passionate leadership profile, with experience of training and developing teams
SAP would be beneficial but not essential
Ability to communicate effectively across key functions e.g. commercial, operations, finance
Ability to drive change, champion best practise and identify opportunities to improveJob Offer
