Cost Engineer

An established, ambitious growing Manufacturing business based near Kidderminster has set itself some ambitious but realistic targets to meet in the next 2-3 years and because of this, they are looking to hire a Cost Engineer to allow the business to do this by supporting the Sales Manager to quote for new business and business with existing clients both in the UK and international.

As their Cost Engineer you will be responsible for:

Produce and submit formal quotations to customers in an accurate and efficient manner, to include material costs, labour costs.
Develop the companies database to improve and enhance the current costing procedure.
Staying in constant contact with customers, both verbally and written to keep track on job progress.
Work with all internal teams to ensure on time delivery of works.To be successful in this role as the Cost Engineer you will need:

To have worked as a Cost Engineer/Proposals engineer/sales Administrator previously within a manufacturing environment.
Fully understand the whole true costs behind quotations such as materials, labour and logistics costs.
Excellent IT skills, including ERP systems.
