Great opportunity for a Technical Manager to take that next step in their career. As the most senior technical contact on site, you will be fully accountable for the function and the voice for the team for the day-to-day site activities and wider business projects. A great opportunity to spread your wings and develop your wider business knowledge and strategic skill set.

What else is involved?

Managing Quality, Technical Systems and Hygiene team across the site, upskilling and developing their skill set
Devise a structure and develop the team building on current foundations.
Being present on the factory floor to drive the correct culture and cohesive working with other functions
Ensure strong technical understanding across the senior management team
Driving the site to be audit ready at all times
The main point of contact for technical with the retail customers.
Leading projects to drive business initiatives forward from a Technical and Process perspective
Continuous Improvement project involvement
Working closely with he wider Technical teams on other sites

For this Head of Technical role, the following are essential criteria:

Significant chilled food manufacturing experience as a Site Technical Manager
Demonstrable motivational management
A real passion for people and evidence of developing Technical Functions
Evidence of leadership and solid team ethics
A strong network across the major retailers leading previous technical projects
