We have a new opportunity available for an Administrator based in Stanford-le-Hope, offering a salary up to £22’000, depending on your experience, plus benefits. As the Administrator, you will be trained on customs documentation, where an eye for detail and accurate data entry rather than fast data entry is required. Your official job title will be Trainee Data Processor and you will have opportunities to progress, your first promotion will be to become a Data Processor. In this role you will be responsible for processing client data including shipping information, where you will follow and apply Customs and Excise duties and procedures. You will also learn how to operate Duty Management Computer Systems and assist with day-to-day duty management accounts, ensuring they are operated according to their authorisation and specific SOP. Additional duties as the Trainee Data Processor include assisting with Customs warehouse removals, and ensuring they are processed accordingly, within a compliant time frame and ensuring stock records are kept up to date. This role will also involve general office administration such as filing, record keeping and having ongoing liaison with HMRC, clients and suppliers. Other duties include learning basic Customs Import formalities and procedures using CFSP (Customs Freight Simplified Procedures). You will be multi-tasking your work, using a variety of systems in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye to detail is essential and someone who takes pride in their work is a must. Every transaction has the potential to make huge savings for their clients and that is what they build their reputation on. As the Trainee Data Processor you will receive full training and support.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9am until 5pm.

To be considered for this opportunity you will require…

* A minimum of six months experience working in an office environment.

* Access to your own vehicle, due to their remote location.

* To be computer literate.

* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisation skills.

* Numeracy and confident to work with numbers
