Large National Contractor - Commercial New-build

£45,000 - £55,000 + 33 days holiday + Pension + Car Allowance + Retail Vouchers + Cycle to Work + Taste Card + Healthcare

You'll join the largest family owned construction business in the UK with that warm friendly, family-esque culture stemming from the top down. You would be joining a regional office that turns over £70m. The whole ethos of this company is friendly and you would be hard up to find a company more welcoming, having worked with them for years and been around their sites and office I can vouch for this.

The Role

This role will be based at a £25m project in York full-time. Monday to Friday.

To provide engineering support to the project, and in Pre-Construction
To accurately set out sections of the works and to keep records for measurement and valuation purposes.
To act as a Temporary Works Coordinator/supervisorDuties

Setting out.
Liaise with and monitor subcontractors' engineers
Liaise with our design managers and designers to obtain the required designs
Provide technical support to the site team
Quality control
Temporary works management
Assist in the organisation of all labour on site, including Sub Contractors for work section where directed including:
Maintaining safety procedures
Keeping site records up to date
Checking time sheets
Ensure site is tidy
Keeping safety/scaffold/plant register is up to date
Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company's Procedure Manual.
Managing any direct reports including absence management, performance reviews, holiday approvals etc
