As our Future Careers Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our commitment to helping our colleagues and customers unlock their full potential and achieve their career goals. You’ll lead the development and implementation of our comprehensive career development programs and services, ensuring that our customers and colleagues have the resources and support needed to succeed.

This role is permanent, full time and can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury, Lichfield or Wolverhampton. Regular travel to each office is required and regular home working is available. An basic DBS check as well as a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the programme of activity in order to achieve 1000 Customers into work or training by 2027, with yearly placement targets
Work with leaders to proactively manage the Apprenticeship programme to maximise the levy usage for the benefit of the whole business
Responsible for the graduate programme, ensuring a quality programme is in place
Lead on work placements and work experience – developing and owning the internal frameworks and supporting access to work opportunities
Foster relationships with educational institutions, industry professionals, and employers to create opportunities for apprenticeships, professional development and mentorship for our colleagues
Build partnerships with educational institutions, employers, and community organisations to connect our customers with educational opportunities, training, apprenticeships, and job placements
Maintain and analyse data to regularly track, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of future careers programmes and progress towards Strategic goals
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, job market dynamics, government & employability schemes and emerging careers and use this insight to shape our Future Careers offer
Organise and lead workshops/events on various career-related topics and promote the Bromford brand.
Measure the success of our Apprenticeship & Graduate programmes by reviewing conversion rates into roles, progression and retention ratesWhat do you need?

Proven experience of working in a similar role, experience managing Apprenticeship, Graduate and/or employability programmes from conception through to embedding
Experience of implementing successful access to work initiatives
A confident communicator able to influence at a senior level
Data driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret data with recommendations for next steps
Ability to establish external relationships and collaborate with community partners
Commitment to diversity and inclusion in career development
Educated to degree level or experience that demonstrates that level of knowledge/ expertise
Desirable, CIPD or ILM
