Freelance or Permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Major Water Framework - Hybrid Working - Civils

Your new company
You will be joining a leading main contractor working on a major water framework across Derbyshire, Lincolnshire & South Yorkshire area. This company has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, working on major multi-million-pound projects across the clean water and wastewater divisions. Due to continued success, they are now looking to onboard a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on multiple exciting water infrastructure projects.

Your new role
You will be working as part of the commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor. You will hold key responsibility over the commercial functions of the role, including monthly costing evaluations, budgeting and forecasting, final accounts, change and early warnings as well as submitting notices and applications for payment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will hold a degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or experience equivalent) and have previous commercial experience surveying on heavy civils schemes, preferably in the water and/or utilities sectors. In addition, you will also have knowledge and experience of NEC3/4 forms of contracts and be financially astute. Finally, you will be able to work alone and as part of a team.
