Our client is an established and highly successful manufacturer based in Swadlincote. Due to ongoing rapid sales increase, they are looking to appoint an Accounts Manager to carry out the following:

* Ledger maintenance

* Month end reports

* Oversee production of sales, purchase and nominal ledger function at trial balance level

* Cashflow forecast

* Monthly profit and loss reports

* Balance sheet review

* Assist with preparation of monthly payroll

* VAT returns

* Assisting with preparation of year end information

* Bank reconciliation

* Making payments

* CIS returns

In order to carry out this role, you should have experience of managing a small team. Candidates should also have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures along with excellent bookkeeping skills. You should also be adept at working under pressure and be a competent user of Excel.
