A great opportunity has become available for a Training & Development Officer to join a company that is a Market Leader in Meat Processing.

The role is full-time, permanent based at their site in Bedford.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing onsite training. You will work closely with department teams to ensure all site employees receive relevant training to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities: (but are not limited)

· Plan and deliver induction and refresher training.
· Work closely with our on-site teams to ensure that localised training needs are met.
· Retain comprehensive and up to date training records and training matrices.
· Supporting audit follow ups.
· External coordination of training.
· Act as site Health and Wellbeing champion.
· Responsible for the onboarding process from induction through to handover to line manager and HR Officer.

About you:

· Confidential and discrete with good relationship building skills.
· Demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety Requirements.
· Strong IT skills and proficiency with MS Office Applications.
· Excellent interpersonal, organisational, time management and attention to detail skills.
· Ability to prioritise, multitask and remain calm under pressure, and to strict deadlines.
· Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to speak, read and write in English clearly and accurately is essential.
· A second language would be beneficial but is not essential.

The working ours for this role is Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.

The Salary for this position is £25,000
