Stores Controller required. Our client is a specialist manufacturer, supplying a range of industries with specialist engineering solutions based in the Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse / Stores Operative to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and management of goods in / goods out.

Stores Controller Position Overview

Controlling goods in and goods out, ensuring paperwork is correct
Carrying out quality checks of goods-in
Ensuring goods inwards are placed in the designated areas
Loading of despatch items onto vehicles with the use of a forklift
Ensuring the workshop and warehouse are kept in tidy and safe conditions
Operating a forklift within the warehouse (training provided)
Carrying out stock checks in line with the stock management software

Stores Controller Position Requirements

Experience within a Warehouse / Stores role
Full UK Driving License, with the ability to drive the work van for local deliveries
Based in a commutable distance of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Experience operating a forklift is desirable
Previous experience within a warehouse or production operative related role

Stores Controller Position Remuneration

Starting salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 15:30. Permanent position.
