The Job
Maintenance Technician required for a creative manufacturing company producing high-end luxury goods for the interiors market. Supporting all manufacturing workshop facilities and studio/retail spaces with day-to-day maintenance and upkeep.

This is a wide and varied position which requires you to have a can-do attitude, friendly & polite with a full clean, UK driving licence. You'll be supporting across all areas in the business including logistics. This is a position for a person with a responsible hard-working mindset. General DIY skills for property maintenance and repairs essential, driving essential, understanding of machinery maintenance desirable.

You will be working in a creative environment with a diverse workforce who are professional, conscientious, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:
* Planned preventative maintenance of all company studios, galleries, workshops and machinery including internal and external premises areas ensuring the properties are looking smart and professional at all times.
* Complete proactive inspections plus carry out any required remedial repairs, monitoring and maintaining equipment in operation including emergency light and fire alarm inspections.
* Conduct health and safety risk assessments in line with safe procedures and related safety method statements
* Relocation and installation of artworks, furniture, lighting and materials to support a busy production and installation schedule.
* Vehicle and driving responsibilities, care of company vehicles plus delivery and collection duties as required.

The right candidate:
* Full Clean UK Driving License Essential
* Cross trade skills in building & maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and decoration
* Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
* BTEC certificate or similar or time served 7-10 years in a similar position
* Capable of heavy lifting and manual labour
