Oxford House Nursing Home, located in Slough, Berkshire is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and adaptable administrator to help ensure that our nursing home runs smoothly for our residents, their families and staff. This is a varied, busy role and you must be able to work well as part of a team in a small office environment. You will be involved in many aspects of the nursing home and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the nursing home is inspection ready, keeping up with any regulatory changes and developments.

About the Home…

We are a nurse-led award-winning care home for adults with complex care needs. We aim to improve the lives of our residents by providing quality care, promoting, and maintaining levels of independence where possible.

We are a small independent family run home, registered for up to 34 residents. The home has communal dining and living spaces, and a well maintained picturesque, accessible garden.

The candidate…

You will be an experienced Administrator, with knowledge of recruitment & HR practices.

You will be a well organised individual with outstanding time management skills. You will be able to make independent decisions and work using your own initiative, whilst working collaboratively within the Management team.

You will offer support to the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, providing regular updates and reports at the weekly management meetings.

You will ensure staff files, data and systems are kept up to date, including liaising with other employees in the business such as the companies finance team.

You will provide crucial support to our management team, making sure they have the information and administrative support they need to lead our nursing home.

This post will be 30-38 hours per week (to be negotiated at interview) (working patterns open to negotiation for the right candidate)
