Prep Production Manager - Days

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to manage a medium sized team and be the conduit between prepared raw materials and the demands of the main production area. With a good understanding of process preparation, stock rotation and timely delivery to the production lines, this really is a pivotal role in the factory. A well organised approach, being proactive and knowing the detail will ensure a JIT approach to the flow of prepared raw material and stock control and help deliver an efficient production process. Communication is key to building trust and understanding across the production and planning departments.

This is a days role working Monday to Friday.

The Role

Heading up a medium team.
Clear and precise communication with raw material and production.
Highly organised and constantly in tune with the factory plan.
Working closely with systems with attention to detail.
Being a motivational force for the team, encouraging ideas and overall buy in.
To constantly identify opportunities and continually drive improvements.
Knowing the detail and being proactive.

What experience do you need for this Production Manager role?

Background in food manufacturing is essential.
Good understanding of production and the planning processes around the demand.
Able to work with numbers.
Extremely strong communicator.
Able to work at speed and be proactive.
A team focused manager who encourages and motivates.
Strong communicator able to engage with and present to the senior team.
