Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shift Pattern: Rotating 6-2/2-10, Monday to Friday

Salary - £44,386.94

I’m actively searching for committed and diligent Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a well-established global manufacturing company situated in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First: Your primary focus will be on maintaining a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This entails strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Optimal Machinery Operation: You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and machinery operate at peak efficiency. This includes performing reactive, corrective, and preventative maintenance tasks.

Quality Assurance: Guarantee the consistent production of high-quality products by upholding meticulous standards in machine maintenance.

Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in improvement projects aimed at enhancing area standards and optimizing equipment performance.

Day to day duties

· Step change facility & behavioural safety, maintain equipment to high standard of compliance with H&S policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and code of practices.

· Maintenance housekeeping at point of activity and workshop kept to high standards.

· Equipment booking out procedure utilised comprehensively.

· Accurately feedback maintenance activities (Usage of parts and comprehensive details of fault found and corrective actions), recognise trends and issues on the machines using the CMMS systems and working with production to improve machine performance,

· Monitor effectiveness of improvements to prevent reoccurrence / repetition.

· Factory & manufacturing technical knowledge

· Apprentice trained as a minimum, Willingness to learn and develop career

· Embraces and thrives in a workplace where cultural, knowledge & experience diversity is recognised as a significant competitive advantage.

· Experience working in a fast-paced maintenance engineering role

· Lean manufacturing and best practice techniques
