Requirements for the role of Senior QS / Commercial Manager

* Assist in the expansion of the New Homes division, within an existing family-owned property development business.

* This is not a conventional surveying role. The ideal candidate must be motivated and ‘up for a challenge’ with the ability to fulfil both surveying and material procurement roles within an existing team of dedicated construction, design and technical professionals.

* Residential housebuilder/developer background essential.

* Strong knowledge of the building processes and stages of construction.

* Ability to provide VE input at design/pre-construction stages and throughout the construction phase.

* Ability to conduct standard surveying duties including but not limited to;

o Subcontractor procurement
o Detailed knowledge of subcontract scope of works
o Applications for payments
o Payment certificates
o Final accounts
o Retentions

* Manage CVR reports, liaising directly CFO
