Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Burnley
Salary: £38,000 + £42,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Shifts: Days | 2 – 10 | 6 – 2 Rotating

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer are:

Respond promptly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, identify the root cause, conduct a thorough analysis, and resolve the issue quickly to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work activities, tasks completed, and parts used in stores.
Collaborate closely with other departments to enhance the reliability of existing and new machinery, diagnose equipment breakdowns, and execute repairs while ensuring that labour direction and planned engineering activities fully support operations.
Attend meetings as needed, examine data, and devise solutions to improve equipment performance while maintaining safe work practices and open communication at all times.
participate in business projects aimed at developing efficient engineering installation and commissioning practices.  
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have the following skills / experience:

Engineering Qualification such as HNC, BTECH or equivalent experience
Electrical & Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing / engineering
Excellent route cause analysis skills
Knowledge and experience of CMMS.
Working knowledge of Health and Safety audits and processes
IT knowledge
Good oral and written communication skills
