Responsibilities:

* Keep students engaged and proactive during lessons, working hand in hand with teachers.

* Encourage group and independent learning, nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

* Provide 1:1 support to students who need that extra help.

* Plan and support classroom activities, ensuring every student has the resources they need.

* Prioritise the safety of our students by adhering to health and safety procedures.

* Team up with teachers and parents to maintain high standards of student behavior.

* Give constructive feedback to teachers, helping them grow in key areas.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 15:30

Requirements:

* Must have a valid DBS Check.

* Previous experience working with children (Preferred).

* Stellar communication skills.

* Superb organisational abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

* Hold a recognised Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.

* Ready to commute daily to Coventry.

* Bring warmth, patience, and a nurturing approach when working with students.

* Show strong empathy when tackling challenges.

* While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, we welcome candidates from support worker or youth worker backgrounds.

Payrate: Hourly – £11.72 - £12.00 per hour
