As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement department in various aspects of the purchasing process.

Assist the procurement team in the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure their accuracy.
Collaborate with suppliers to track order status and delivery times.
Maintain procurement records and files.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and conducting supplier assessments.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and product options.
Assist with price negotiations and cost analysis.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
Support the procurement team in various administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role you will:
Ideally you will have a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
