Role: Business Development Executive

Salary: £25,000- £28,000 (Plus Bonus Scheme)

Location: Sheffield

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Job Summary:

Glu Recruit are looking for a New Business Development Executive to join a small, friendly, and supportive internal sales team. You will be responsible for contacting existing, lapsed, and potential clients who are based throughout the UK and growing long-term relationships.

The successful candidate will offer a consultative service to new clients, advising them on product ranges, raising quotes and managing the order process. You will be the key point of contact for your customers for all issues relating to orders and enquiries.

Main responsibilities:

* Contacting existing, lapsed and potential clients via email, or phone call leading to face to face or teams meetings

* Research and identify business opportunities

* Meet KPIs and Individual Targets

* Roughly making 60 sales calls a day to pre-planned lists to start off with and less calls expected as clients are developed which then leads more into account management

* Outbound calling

* Account management of new business

* Maintain and develop customer relationships

* When required generate a quotation and proposal

* Ensuring sales systems and updated regularly

* Offer a consultative service to new clients

* Advise clients on product ranges and what is available to them

* Raising quotes

Successful candidate:

* Background in a proactive internal sales role

* Confidence on the phone and a professional phone manner

* B2B Experience is beneficial

* Print or Promotional Merchandise experience is advantageous but not essential

* Excellent communication skills

* IT literate
