Duties include;
*Oversight of, and accountability for, processing of correct monthly payments
*Responsible for review and management of quotations including demonstration of the entitlement principle, underpinning, and bounding of scope
*Support the Project Manager with interpretation of the contract and Works/Goods Information as required
*Provide Commercial/Contractual guidance and leadership within the Project Portfolios - advising on options and proposing suitable available courses of action
*Responsible for avoiding and resolving commercial disputes/disagreements as far as practicable, and escalating to the Commercial Portfolio Lead and Project Portfolio Lead where appropriate
*Support the Project Manager with management of Risk and Opportunities - providing guidance and leadership within the portfolio in relation to the contract, and facilitating regular Project and Portfolio Risk Reviews
*Ensuring compliance with Change Control procedures, both internal and contract specific
*Detailed reporting through the weekly Commercial meetings to the Commercial Portfolio Lead
*Facilitation, management and support of commercial aspects of new business
*Ensuring adherence with all required commercial reporting to the client
*Ensure effective internal and external stakeholder management and engagement
*Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives as identified within the Portfolio Roadmap to Excellence to drive better commercial performance against the KPIs and objectives set within the Project and Commercial Portfolios
*Responsible for ensuring all standards, expectations and strategic approach are met, reflected and followed within all of the Portfolios' commercial engagement, both up and down stream
*Provide commercial management of the supply chain - responsible for overseeing negotiation, placement and administration of subcontracts, in conjunction with the Supply Chain Management team
