We currently have an exciting role for a Fleet Compliance & VMU Co-ordinator providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Leeds site. The role works days, working 40 hours per week and offers excellent rates of pay.

About the Role:

The Fleet Compliance / VMU Co-Ordinator works within the Fleet compliance team, who are responsible for ensuring the Company’s commercial vehicles are following all legal requirements. This position involves coordinating and monitoring company policies and procedures to ensure safety on the road and mitigate risk to the Company.

This role is responsible for assisting with the controlling of all maintenance costs including on-site defects, roadside breakdowns and ensuring all vehicles remain compliant in line with customers operators' licences maintenance schedules - utilising our approved nationwide vendor partners and in house VMU’s ensuring the costs are cost effective.

This is a fast-paced environment, the ability to react and develop into making informed decisions will be key to your success.

What we are looking for:

Monitoring progress, obtaining authorisations and arranging VMU workloads

Working with the national fleet and maintenance manager to ensure maintenance and schedules are up to date on all vehicles prior to authorising vehicle repairs.

Identify issues with suppliers and resolve whilst building and maintaining relationships.

Helping to monitor and maintain compliance with legal regulations related to commercial vehicles.

Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

Support the team with monitoring VMU performance through data analysis of our maintenance platform and other reporting systems.

Work with internal and external parties to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Keep updated with changes in regulations and implement necessary changes.

Create reports for management on compliance-related issues and areas for improvement.
