Role and Responsibilities: As a Hazardous Waste Salesperson, you will be an integral part of our sales team, working closely with both colleagues and management to enhance our market presence and meet sales targets. Your role will encompass:

* Collaborating within a smaller team environment to achieve shared goals.

* Working closely with the management team to align sales strategies with business objectives.

* Capitalising on the increased business and capacity generated by new permit applications.

* Handling warm leads and managing existing accounts to foster strong client relationships.

* Identifying, pursuing, and cultivating new commercial opportunities within the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) codes.

* Embracing a consultative sales approach, offering expert advice to clients, and proposing tailored solutions and opportunities.

* Actively participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should possess:

* Proven experience within Hazardous waste from a technical standpoint – this may be in a similar sales role, or may be as a Chemist or Technical Assessor looking to move into sales.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.

* A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

* A proactive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, waste management practices, and EWC codes (desirable but not essential).

* A genuine interest in environmental sustainability and a commitment to promoting responsible waste management solutions.
