£40,000 - £65,000 + matched pension, paid mileage & excellent benefits package.

Control Engineer – The Role:
Liaise with clients & interpret their requirements to provide engineering proposals including cost proposals
Ensure projects adhere to budgets & schedules and are fit-for-purpose
Ensure safety objectives & legal requirements are observed for cable installations, control & LV electrical switchgear panels
Deliver projects with control electrical, software and process safety systems engineering design
Create associated documentation with software/hardware solutions
Take responsibility for a team of Engineers & train junior engineers where required
Seek new business opportunities where possible
Working on a mix of both process automation & machinery automation projects
Carry out full control systems design, complete all documentation, carry out site commissioning & provide post installation support

Control Engineer – The Person:
Experience with Siemens PLC & ideally SCADA
Any experience of safety systems design & programming would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of Siemens PLC preferred however open to consider experience of other market leading systems – training will be given providing you have the relevant experience

Located in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from Birmingham Redditch, Halesowen, Quinton, Kings Norton, Solihull & Coventry.

Role would also suit an Automation Engineer, Control Engineer, Systems Engineer or a PLC Software Engineer.
