Fantastic opportunity for a Children’s Home Residential Support Worker to join the team in Nantwich, Cheshire.
The company is an established children’s care provider offering therapeutic and residential support to vulnerable children and young people.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Care/Support Worker ideally with a Level 3 in Residential Childcare although a willingness to undertake the qualification is a given. You will be skilled in building positive relationships with young people who have suffered significant trauma and can support them with highly individualised care to achieve improved long-term outcomes.

Essential Attributes
A full UK driving license, and a vehicle we ask that you get business insurance on is required for this role.
Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork.
Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development.
Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn.
Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins. Desirable Attributes
Diploma Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent or willingness to work towards the above Level 3 qualification funded by the organisation.
Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Children’s Homes
Experience of Ofsted inspections
Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people
