Position; SHIFT MANAGER

Location; Chichester

Salary; £13.00 - £15.00 + Overtime available.

Our prestigious client is looking for a knowledgeable manager to join their team, applicants for the Shift Manager position should have supervision experience with some Microsoft packages knowledge.

The role;

The Shift Manager reports to the Plant Co-ordinator and is responsible for the organisation of their shifts and assuring a professional high standard of service is maintained.

Main responsibilities;

Ensure that all team members work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with the HS&E requirements.
Ensure the team have the appropriate training and understanding to assure the right first time delivery of the required projects in a professional and cost efficient manner.
Overall responsibility for the correct set up of projects ensuring the required Test Plan and authorisation document are clearly agreed.
Overall responsibility for the control of resource in the shift to ensure maximum utilisation thereby reducing standby/inefficiency.
Responsible for the set up of Customer projects ensuring the contract agreements are clearly documented and formally agreed.
Support the Site Manager in the recruitment, induction, appraisal and development of the Supervisors and Inspection teams.
Support the Plant Co-ordinator in achieving of Plant KPIs.
Any other duties for which the Shift Supervisor holds the appropriate skills.Applicants for the Shift Manager should be able to work a split shift, weekly rotation, of 6am to 3pm & 3pm to 11.30pm.

Required;

Experience of supervising teams
Excel, and Microsoft office knowledge
Able to work split shifts.
Positive and self motivated with a 'can-do' attitude
Automotive experience would be beneficial Commutable locations;
