My Runcorn based client is looking to recruit a Cash Sheet Associate to work on a 6 month contract on a hybrid basis, being based in the office for 2 days a week. The role of the Cash Sheet Associate is to record and control all sales, spend and cash banking for the Client. The role is offered on a full time basis Monday - Friday and is offering a salary of £21,672.

The Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Record and reconcile all branch counter sales and cash banking in an accurate and timely manner
* Review, resolve and report all cash differences and report any fraudulent transactions
* Identify potential irregularities in branch data and notify the Treasury Supervisor
* Provide daily support to branch staff with regards to EPOS till operation, reporting figures, banking cash and account customers
* Contribute to internal and external audits as required
* Perform any other duties, as required

Key Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience reconciling cash tills would be an advantage
* Experience of working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment while
maintaining excellent attention to detail
* Proven experience of handling large volumes of data using Excel
* Experience of collaborative working across finance and operational functions

Knowledge and Skills
* A sound understanding of retail cash handling would be an advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Confident, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills, incorporating written and verbal
* Forward thinking with attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Ability to work with a collaborative and open approach
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
* Financial Systems knowledge and experience, preferably SAP.
