Prospero Teaching is looking for Textiles teacher for a Secondary School in the Bury LA. This position is to cover the absence of the current post holder. You will be responsible for teaching Textiles across Years 7 to 11, and other DT subjects at Year 7 and 8 on a carousel basis. The department is settled and welcoming and produces excellent results year on year.
The school is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. Accessible to both the M60 and M66 in Bury, the DT block was renovated very recently and boasts workshops equipped with brand new equipment and a wide range of materials to use.
The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.
Our school has a strong reputation across the LA and the DT staff are central to the magnificent props and set that feature in the Christmas and Summer pantomines - so your help would be welcomed outside of school hours where possible.
