Job Title: Freight Operations Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Per Annum

Working Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Freight Operations Manager to join our Client and play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Route Planning: Develop efficient and cost-effective route plans for our company fleet of vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries and optimized resource utilization.

Staff Allocation: Assign operational staff to routes, considering their skills and availability to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and addressing any issues that may arise promptly.

Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Driving: Hold a full driving license and be willing to occasionally travel for meetings, training, and site visits.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in operational management within the freight or logistics industry.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Proficiency in route planning software and other relevant tools.

A commitment to continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

Flexibility to travel as required for meetings, training, and site visits.
