The appointed Quantity Surveyor will ensure the successful financial completion of projects, protecting potential financial risks to the company, together with adherence to the commercial procedures of the Business.
This role involves supporting the Commercial Manager in delivering the commercial aspects of the projects.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Duties Include:

Assist in managing costs, and suggest journal requests if needed
Review monthly management accounts and key performance information and see growth areas
Manage data within the Company's Inhouse Works Management System
Ensure the timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the region, ensuring that client-specified application/invoice dates are met.
Manage the Early Warning and Compensation Event process as set out in the NEC form of Contract (or as amended by our clients T&C's).
Respond to Client enquiries and manage disputes
Create In-Contract pricing, estimates and quotations
Assist in Final Accounts
Assist the Regional Commercial Manager with Aged Debt, cash collection and escalations if required
Assist in the preparation of revenue reports
Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, including ensuring costs and revenue in the correct periods
