A leading manufacturer developing an innovate powertrain unit and has a new vacancy for a Development Engineer. Working at a state-of-the-art facility, you will complete data and performance analysis for the engineering functions to ensure the efficiency and overall performance of the product is in line with customer requirements.

Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Warwick, Coventry, Banbury, Stratford, Birmingham.

Salary: £35,000 - £ 42,000 p.a. + benefits

Suitable for: Performance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Validation Engineer, Simulation Engineer, Development Engineer.

The Role

Complete data analysis and performance analysis for the engineering team.

Working cross functionally with other teams to support the development of system performance models and control systems.

Support the assessment and optimisation of product performance on both high system and subsystem level.

Support the definition of verification and validation test plans as well as the pass/fail rate.

Support testing activities, ensuring the test data is adequate for the purpose of the test.

Process and analyse test data and report in a clear and concise manner.

The Person

Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of Gas Turbine or powertrain would be beneficial.

Good problem solving skills.

Experience in Scripting in MATLAB/Simulink and or Python

Experience in data analysis and processing.
