Location: Wigan or surrounding areas

Remuneration: £40,000 + 12% bonus

Benefits: Car allowance (£500 per month) & full benefits package

The role of the Design Engineer – Formwork and Falsework will involve:

* Design Engineer position dealing with a range of formwork and falsework systems

* Liaise with Tier 1 contractors, main contractors, groundwork contractors to gain an understanding of project requirements and deadlines

* Convert enquiries from sales team & clients into efficient drawings, schemes, calculations and quotations

* Carry out detailed design work of complex systems (3D design software)

* Ensure that all designs are completed in accordance with appropriate standards

* Liaise with Engineering Manager to ensure sufficient resources are available

* Produce material lists for costing and delivery of the scheme

The ideal applicant will be Design Engineer – Formwork and Falsework with:

* Must have heavyside construction design experience, would consider civils, structural, groundworks, formwork, falsework & shoring

* Must have a sound working knowledge of temporary work systems

* Must be experienced with design software such as AutoCAD / Revit

* Civil Engineering degree would be highly advantageous

* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

* Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision

* Tenacious, professional and high attention to detail
