Role Title – Supply Chain Resilience Manager

Location – Derby/Warrington/Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 remote)

Salary - £48,000 - £58,000 + additional benefits

We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Supply Chain Resilience Manager, to be involved in developing a global supply chain and creating opportunities for the wider industry.

The role of Supply Chain Resilience Manager is to lead of the development and deployment of RRSMR’s approach to Risk and Opportunity management for the Purchasing and Supply Chain function. To ensure supply chain resilience and security of supply as a key enabler to maintaining safe and secure operations and build certainty. The role will develop the approach, the templates, tools, systems, training and the environment that focuses on supply chain risk and resilience to ensure security of supply.

The development and deployment of Purchasing and Supply Chain approach to Risk and Opportunity management  through the development of templates, tools, systems and training the function.

Key Selection Criteria

Functional lead and subject matter expert supporting the deployment and training of the complete suite of tools and templates to be used to determine, report and monitor risks and opportunities within the supply chain

Development and deployment of the digital landscape required in the area of risk management in order to provide real time risk monitoring of the supply chain through to source considering, but not limited to:

Supply chain financial health
Geo/ political activities throughout supply chain
Changes in key business personal with the supply chain
Cyber attacks on the supply chain
Material scarcity 
Supply chain continuity: Subject matter expert for the function in the development, training, deployment and continuous improvement of supply chain contingency plans

Development, maintenance and progress reporting of supply chain risk

Support the development of the right commercial framework(s) within which there are clear provisions on partner/supplier monitoring and risk reporting

Support the development of effective partner/ strategic supplier risk  management plans that capture the supply

Ensuring all the Purchasing and supply chain function is SQEP and ensuring knowledge and compliance to company policies, processes and procedures, ensuring all purchasing records and documentations are correct and maintained in line with regulatory requirements

Knowledge and experience

-        Degree (Purchasing or Project Management) or equivalent or significant industry experience.

-        Ideally MCIPs qualified or equivalent

-        Subject matter expert in supply chain risk and resilience and the approaches to manage and mitigate

-        Familiarity with procurement and supply chain management preferred.
