Part Time 31.25 hours per week (term time only) 39 weeks per annum
Cockington Primary School have vacancies for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to commence as soon as possible.
The posts are for 31.25 hours per week (8.30 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. Monday to Friday during term time) to include support across lunchtimes. These are initially fixed term contracts through until the end of the summer term 2024.
The successful candidates will have a desire to enhance learning for all the children in the school. They will bring enthusiasm and commitment to the team. They will work well with others, be patient, flexible, dedicated and caring, with a willingness to meet children’s intimate care needs.
The roles might include working within whole class settings, supporting groups of learners and working with specific children who have special educational needs. Experience of working with children with special educational needs would be an advantage. We are looking for candidates who are willing to go above and beyond in order to make a difference to children’s learning.
Please note: Relevant College course completion prior to application is not essential, but successful candidates would be encouraged to study and support Cockington Primary School’s ethos of lifelong learners.
