CNC Turner - S64 8AE – £14 - £16ph - Full time, permanent

We are looking for a CNC Turner to join a Precision Engineering company who specialise in the manufacturing of fasteners for clients across a number of sectors including nuclear, automotive, oil and gas and more!

As a CNC Turner you will join a family run business who have been experts in the field for over 50 years. Having grown during this period the company now have over 40 staff members to date and excellent job longevity.

If you are a time served CNC Turner with experience in manufacturing exotic material fasteners, operating 2 axis Doosan Turning machinery and have a passion to produce components to an excellent standard then this role may be for you!

£14 to £16 per hour

Monday to Thursday – 8.30am to 5pm
Friday – 8.30am to 3pm

The role and responsibilities;

. Setting and operating a 2 Axis Doosan S310 Turning centre with Fanuc controls
. Safely and efficiently setting up machinery
. Working to strict deadlines
· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
· Inspecting products during the manufacture and optimising set-up to maintain quality and efficiency
. Performing basic preventative maintenance operations
· Good housekeeping skills

Requirements for the role;

· At least 5 years experience running Fanuc controls on CNC lathes
· The ideal candidate will have experience of exotic material fasteners
