A Secondary Academy based in Chatham, Medway is looking to recruit a RE Teacher to join their already successful Religious Studies Department . This is a Long term, full time position.

We are looking for a RE Teacher who can demonstrate progression in lessons, is committed to raising attainment and can deliver good to outstanding lessons. As an RE Teacher you must have strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills. Applications are welcome from both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT)

Candidate Requirements;

As the successful candidate, you must meet the following criteria:

MUST be a qualified teacher with a recognised teaching qualification
A strong working knowledge of the current curriculum
Have a positive can do attitude with lots of enthusiasm
Hold strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver good-outstanding Religious Studies lessons to both KS3 & KS4
Be able to demonstrate "progression" in class
Have a drive to succeed
