Our client has a permanent, full-time vacancy for an Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Accounts Manager.

To process all incoming and outgoing funds.
To deal with all Accounts enquiries both internally and externally.
To give assistance to staff as required
To maintain a smooth running accounts department.
To process all cheques and requests/and cleared funds within the timescale noted in the
To perform daily banking.
To identify receipts received by electronic transfer of funds and update computer
To deal with enquiries with Bankers and obtain further information and clarification
To resolve queries where these arise.
To provide analysis of information in the appropriate computer format to produce
reports for further use or presentation.
Administer the computer system on a daily basis and provide reports and to liaise with
support contractors where required.
To give assistance and support staff in reconciling clients’ ledger entries when required.
To produce monthly statements and maintain credit control.
To manage and maintain archived records of accounts and database systems and to
supervise other departmental staff in the management and maintenance of records.
Reconcile and process the cash report from Debtco on a daily basis
* Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths.
* Previous experience of working in Accounts. (Desirable)
* Good communication skills
* Good computer skills, experience of Word and Excel
