Smart Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for CNC Operatives to join our client on a permanent basis

Shift Pattern: Mornings, afternoons & nights:

* Mornings: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am – 1:30pm

* Nights: Monday – Thursday 10pm – 6am, Friday 9pm– 4:30am (into Saturday morning)

* Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10pm, Friday 1:30pm – 9pm

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience:

£11- £15 per hour*

Overtime rates of pay are paid after 37 hours worked

Monday- Saturday, time and half

Sunday, double time

Main responsibilities:

* Ensuring each machine is cutting to specification - CNC Experience is essential

* Reprogramming machines to ensure accuracy of product

* Quality checking products, ensuring each item is up to standards

* Responsible for quality of work and level of production

* Inspect parts before and after processing to ensure preceding operations have been carried out correctly and to verify that your own work has met the required standards

* Good housekeeping of own work area and contribute to the general upkeep of the working environment.

* Operate in a safe manner and undertake any training necessary to enable you to fulfil the requirements of your position

* Ensure a high level of communication to employees, managers & colleagues

* Upholding the company ethics and their quality over quantity standards

Qualifications, experience and skills:

* Metal Cutting Experience

* Experience using Doosan/Mazak

* Some knowledge of Fanuc
