Our client is one of London’s prestigious museums that is looking for Maintenance Electrician to join its facilities team. As the Maintenance Electrician, you will be based on site at a large estate in North London.
The successful Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to all electrical kit, lamp changes, fire alarm tests, emergency light tests, statutory maintenance, flushing, tap temp tests, blockages, and other minor related building services.
In addition, the Maintenance Electrician will oversee any specialist FM contractors that attends site, issue permits to work, and ensure the contractor is completing any works.
The selected Maintenance Electrician must be qualified to City & Guilds standard, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and hold the 18th Edition. You must also be able to prioritise works, have excellent communication skills, and be fit to walk around a sizable estate all day.
