Do you have experience of supporting learners who have SEN, ASD or SEMH needs? Vision for Education are looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant who is committed to providing a supportive yet challenging environment for children while promoting the school's ethos and vision.

The role

We are looking for an outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to be placed in a 'Good' Primary School in LS12. The school is a large, Church of England, inner city, multi-cultural church school where diversity is embraced and wholly welcomed. 

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Have previous experience supporting teaching and learning or supporting pupils
Plan and deliver bespoke learning programmes specifically centred around your pupil’s needs and interests, overcoming their barriers to learning.
Support your pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development on a one-to-one basis
Work collaboratively with other members of staff and colleagues
Have a passion for supporting young pupils with their learning and development
Show resilience, patience, creativity and empathy
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
