Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor
What you will be doing?
* Ensure the embedded alliance is provided with accurate cost and value reporting and forecasting to mitigate adverse financial impacts
* Ensure effective cost capture ensuring all costs are allocated appropriately.
* Lead the identification of cost reduction opportunities and provide support to help stakeholders realise them
* Provide commercial support to stakeholders including ensuring alliance members’ internal reporting needs are satisfied
* Ensure compliance with agreed commercial processes and procedures
* Create a culture of collaborative working both within the embedded alliance and with other AW alliances
A little bit about your skills. Experience and behaviours
* Thorough understanding of NEC3 forms of contract
* Thorough understanding of relevant construction and contract law
* Must have expert commercial acumen
* Managing teams across a matrix environment
* Acts in a truly collaborative fashion and inspires others to do the same
* Proactive management of the allocated programme area and prompt escalate issues as necessary
* Demonstrate resilience if there are setbacks
